Thirty days ago you started with a business card. Look at what you have now:
- a website on your own name that you know how to change
- your business on Google, Bing and Apple Maps, with matching details
- every enquiry reaching your phone, with spam filtered out
- a review habit, reply templates, and your first monthly improvement
Most businesses never get this far. Well done.
Today: save your monthly routine in your calendar Time: 10 minutes
Your 30-minute monthly routine (pick a day, such as the first Monday of each month):
- [ ] Numbers (5 min). Visitors, enquiries, top searches (day 28). Compare with last month.
- [ ] Enquiries (5 min). Read last month's enquiries. Any new question heard three times? Add it to your FAQ.
- [ ] One change (10 min). Pick and make one improvement (day 29).
- [ ] Listings (5 min). Add 2–3 new photos to Google. Check that hours are right everywhere, especially before holidays.
- [ ] Reviews (5 min). Reply to any new reviews. Check you sent review requests after every job.
Every three months, add:
- [ ] the AI assistant check (day 24)
- [ ] the speed test (day 25)
- [ ] a look at whether you need a new service page
Once a year:
- [ ] check your domain's auto-renew and payment card
- [ ] check your privacy page is still true
- [ ] confirm your MyFormConnect Directory listing (we'll email you)
