Connect your Wix site to MyFormConnect
Works on: all Wix plans. The Embed HTML element doesn't need a Premium plan. (Wix's separate site-wide Custom Code feature does need a Premium plan and a connected domain, but you don't need it here.)
- Do "Before you start" on the connect hub and have your form code ready.
- Open your site in the Wix editor and go to your contact page.
- Click Add Elements (the + on the left), then Embed Code, then Embed HTML. In Wix Studio, look for Embed & Social first.
- Click the new box, choose Enter Code, and select Code (not website address) if asked.
- Paste your whole form code and click Apply (or Update).
- Drag the corners of the box so the whole form is visible, including the button. Make the box a bit taller than you think; error messages need room.
- Check the mobile view: switch the editor to mobile and resize the box there too.
- Publish, then test on your phone: fill in the form and send. Check the alert arrives.
- Once it works, delete the old Wix form from the page.
Good to know: Wix shows embedded code inside its own frame, so your site's fonts don't reach the form. The form code includes its own simple styling for this reason. Preview in the editor can look different from the live site, so always test on the published site.
Allowlisted domain for Wix embeds (OPEN): TODO_WIX_EMBED_DOMAIN. Add this domain in MyFormConnect under Settings → Domains if your form runs inside Wix's frame.
Common problems
- The form is cut off: make the Embed HTML box taller, on both desktop and mobile views.
- It doesn't send: confirm the allowlisted domain above is set in MyFormConnect, and that your public site domain is listed too.
Done when: a test enquiry from your live Wix site reached your phone.
