A contact form people finish

Every extra box on a form makes some people give up, especially on phones, where most of your visitors are. Today we make your contact section as easy as possible.

Check your form against this list:

  1. Four fields or fewer: name, email, phone and message. Remove anything else.
  2. Phone is optional. Many people won't give a number to a stranger. Let them choose.
  3. A clear button: "Get a quote" or "Ask a question" works better than "Submit".
  4. What happens next. One line under the button: "We reply within a few hours, Monday to Saturday." People are more likely to send when they know what to expect.
  5. Another way to reach you. Next to the form, add a tap-to-call button and, if you use it for business, a WhatsApp or text button.

Here is my website file. In the contact section only: {describe the changes from the list}. Change nothing else. Give me the full updated file.

Then upload the folder in Cloudflare, like yesterday.

The phone test (do this every time you change the form):

  • Open your site on your phone, not your computer.
  • Fill in the form with your thumb, as a customer would.
  • Press Send and check the alert arrives.

Done when: your form passes the phone test and meets all five points.

Day 9 done. Continue to day 10
