A TV crew and a quote-seeking reporter are not the same ticket. Broadcast, podcast, and shoot requests need a media type and proposed date so US and UK comms can book rooms, not just draft sentences.
Copy facilities, not only the spokesperson.
Podcast versus truck is a different building.
Self-serve the rules.
Date, time, escort, what they may film.
A media request here means access: cameras, microphones, a studio, a factory tour. US productions ask about union and insurance; UK crews ask about similar risk assessments. The form captures type and date so facilities can say yes or no before comms crafts the talking points.
Press comment-only asks should use the press inquiry form. Mixing them is how a camera crew is treated like an email Q&A.
A shoot without a date is a mood board.
Link filming guidelines and insurance minimums as PDFs. The form should not be the policy.
Location libraries exist. Your HQ still needs a URL.
Separate from /press if volume justifies it.
They will still email. Send the URL.
Keep them. Log the result on a row.
Use internally after this form qualifies the ask.
Comms sites should stay fast. Put the form under the filming PDF.
US ZIP versus UK postcode of the requested site is how you know which facilities manager to ping.
Ask in the message. Many sites are a no.
Parking and power in details. Do not discover it on the day.
Comms must approve. The form is not consent from staff.
Link a pack so you can decline the shoot.
