Free HTML Job Alerts Form Generator

Not every visitor is ready to apply. A talent-community signup lets US and UK candidates leave an email and a discipline—engineering, retail, clinical—so you can send vacancies later. Keep it short enough to finish on a phone between Tube stops or in a parking lot.

How to Use This Form Generator

1

Create a marketing-consent Form ID

Keep it separate from applications so exports are clean.

2

Retitle the interest select

Match your real job families.

3

Link a privacy notice

Talent data is personal data.

4

Send the first alert on a schedule

A signup with no email is a broken promise.

What is a job alerts form?

A job alerts form is permission to email someone when a relevant vacancy opens. It is closer to a newsletter than to a CV drop. US candidates expect a way to pick a metro or remote. UK candidates expect a way to pick a city or region without typing a full postcode if they are only browsing.

If you force a resume on this form, you will lose the people who wanted a light touch. Use the full job application form when they are ready.

Fields a talent community actually needs

Email plus one interest dimension beats a twelve-field CRM fantasy.

  • Name and email as the only hard requirements.
  • Interest select retitled to functions or brands on the form.
  • Optional company/organisation if you recruit employed passives and want current employer—make it optional.
  • Optional message for ‘open to remote in US only’ or ‘London and Manchester’.
  • No resume required on this pack—do not add one unless you are running a genuine CV database with a privacy notice to match.

Say how often you email and how to unsubscribe. US CAN-SPAM and UK PECR/GDPR both care. The form is not your ESP.

How talent communities are built

Beamery and Phenom are the enterprise stack. A careers WordPress page can start with this.

1. HTML in the footer of every vacancy

Captures people who bounced off a specific role.

2. CRM / marketing automation

Mailchimp, Customer.io, or a talent CRM once volume justifies it.

3. LinkedIn follow

You do not own the list.

4. Job board ‘create alert’

Indeed alerts are not your talent community.

Job alerts on static careers sites

Publish the form on /careers and on 404s for closed requisitions. Route to talent-crm@ or a spreadsheet export into your ESP.

If you hire in both countries, add copy that alerts may include US and UK roles, or split forms by region.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this GDPR-compliant by itself?

No. You need a lawful basis, notice, and unsubscribe in the emails you send.

Can they attach a CV?

Prefer not. Send them to the application form when a role matches.

ZIP or postcode?

Optional in the message field unless you add a field. Do not require it for a light alert signup.

Double opt-in?

Recommended for UK/EU lists. Configure in your email tool, not in this HTML.
