Free HTML Interest Form Generator

Schools, housing lists, and product teams can take ‘register your interest’ before applications open. The form captures who they are and which offering they mean so launch day is not a surprise inbox explosion.

What is an interest form?

An interest form (UK: register your interest / expression of interest) is a waitlist without a commitment. US charter lotteries, UK school tours, and unreleased products all use it. It is not an application, not a petition, and not a beta tester programme—though those pages are cousins.

The signup pack is the right default: email, optional organisation, and an interest select for which cohort or SKU. People should leave knowing they are not enrolled.

Capture intent without fake promises

If the copy sounds like they have a place, you will spend launch week arguing. Call it interest, then follow up when the real form opens.

  • Name and email for the announcement.
  • Interest as which programme, city, or product.
  • Message for constraints (year of entry, budget, must be weekend).

Do not collect deposits here. Interest is free; money is a later process.

How waitlists are built

Mailchimp embeds, Google Forms, and a spreadsheet at an open day. HTML on your domain is branded and exportable.

1. HTML on the coming-soon page

one form per launch, or one select for several cohorts.

2. ESP landing pages

Use when the only next step is a newsletter. This form is better when you need structured fields.

3. Application form too early

You will collect half-finished applications and anger people when criteria change.

4. Beta signup

Use that generator if they will test software. Use this if they want a place or a product later.

Static coming-soon pages

A single landing page with a date and this form is a complete v1 waitlist.

When you open applications, email this list a link. Do not silently convert interest into an application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this legally an application?

It should not be. Keep the copy honest.

Education inquiry vs interest?

Inquiry is a question about a live programme. Interest is a waitlist before something opens.

Housing / school lotteries?

Statutory processes still apply. This HTML form is not a lottery system.

Unsubscribe later?

Honour it. Keep the list only for the stated launch.
